Real homes are challenged to reduce their impact on planet earth over a number of weeks. They are monitored closely in four categories water, waste, diet and energy. We measure everything from the amount of water used in the shower to what is in their bins. As the families try to change how they live we capture this using fix rig remote cameras in the homes. Our scientists review the data and at the end of each week the families come to our studio setting and we reveal their statistics which can be a real surprise to the families and not always a good one. The show had a significant increase in the slot average on RTE 1 in Ireland with gains in kids and +35.
