Big scale interior design challenge with a unique funding model.
Showhouse Showdown is an interior design format. In each self-contained episode two professional interior designers are given two new identical homes. The designers have to create interiors that will appeal to potential buyers.
The designers have six days to create their interiors and on the seventh day the houses are opened up to the public, the target market for the homes and these visitors vote on the winning design.
Showhouse Showdown just completed its 6th season and in the latest series Neville Knott is joined by Laurence LLewelyn-Bowan (DIY SOS, House Rules).
The developers who have built the new properties fund the interiors and they recoup their investment when the properties are sold as fully furnished.
